Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance across the Dynamic HR website and product suite, ensuring every user can access our services, regardless of ability.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Our commitment
Dynamic HR is committed to ensuring that our website and all of our software products, including Dynamic EMS®, Dynamic Schedules®, and Dynamic Financials®, are accessible to as many people as possible, in line with our obligations under the UK Equality Act 2010 and Isle of Man human rights and equality legislation.
This website has been designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Level AA is the internationally recognised benchmark for accessible digital services and is the level required by UK public sector accessibility regulations.
What this means for you
WCAG 2.2 is built around four core principles. Every page of this website, from marketing to blog posts, forms, and product documentation, has been designed and tested against each of them.
Perceivable
Content is presented in ways every user can perceive, with text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast, and no reliance on colour alone to convey meaning.
Operable
Every feature can be used with a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are always visible, touch targets meet minimum sizes, and no time limits block critical tasks.
Understandable
Language, navigation, and forms are predictable and clearly labelled. Errors are explained in plain language and irreversible actions require confirmation.
Robust
Semantic HTML and ARIA make the site fully compatible with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
Specific accessibility features
- A visible "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) let assistive technology navigate the page structure quickly.
- All images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked so they are ignored by screen readers.
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interactive components.
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Interactive controls meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size requirement (24×24 CSS pixels) on all viewports.
- Forms include programmatic labels, inline error messages, and instructions that are announced by screen readers.
- Help and support links appear in a consistent location across every page (WCAG 2.2 Consistent Help).
- Session data is not requested twice: information already entered is reused where appropriate (WCAG 2.2 Redundant Entry).
- Motion and animation respect the operating system "reduced motion" preference.
- Page language is declared programmatically so screen readers use the correct pronunciation.
Compatibility with assistive technology
This website has been tested with the following combinations of browsers and assistive technology:
- NVDA (latest) on Windows with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox
- JAWS (latest) on Windows with Chrome and Edge
- VoiceOver on macOS Safari and iOS Safari
- TalkBack on Android Chrome
- Keyboard-only navigation across all supported browsers
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to resolve the following:
- Some third-party embedded content (such as booking widgets and video players) is provided by external vendors whose accessibility we cannot fully control. Where possible we offer accessible alternatives. Please contact us if you need help accessing any content.
- Older PDF documents predating our accessibility programme may not meet WCAG 2.2. We are re-authoring these documents; accessible versions are available on request.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared following an internal audit against all Level A and Level AA success criteria of WCAG 2.2. Testing combined automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE), manual keyboard testing, and screen reader verification. The audit was last completed on 11 July 2026 and is reviewed at least every twelve months, or whenever significant changes are made to the site.
Formal conformance claim
The Dynamic HR website (dynamichr.solutions) is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Fully conformant" means the content fully meets the accessibility standard without any exceptions, other than the known limitations noted above which are being actively remediated.
